With over 23 years mining experience in Mining Operations, Mine Planning and Drill and Blast, in both hard rock and coal mining. The principal Engineer has held various positions in mining including at least 6 years at Superintendent level. Gardner has hands-on experience in widely used drill and blast, mine scheduling and mine design software, namely, Blastplan, Shotplus, DBS, XPAC, XACT, Vulcan. We also have expertise in Blasor mine optimisation software.
In the 23 years mining experience Gardner has been Pit Superintendent at Chemplex Mineral (Zimbabwe), Drill and Blast Engineer and the Drill and Blast Superintendent with Rossing Uranium Rio Tinto (Namibia). In Australia Gardner has been Drill and Blast Engineer, Senior Mining Engineer and Mine Planning Superintendent with BHP Billiton, and Drill and Blast Superintendent with Wesfarmers Curragh
